How CardDex Live works

Install

Download CardDex Live for Windows or Mac and open it. It starts on the Scan tab.

A QR code appears. Scan it with your phone (already signed in to CardDex) and tap Approve. Pro is checked here.

Set your hotkeys

Snap is F13 out of the box. Map F13–F18 to a Stream Deck or keep the keyboard defaults.

Snap cards

Hold a card in your card zone and hit Snap. CardDex identifies the exact print and pulls the live market price.

Approve to push to overlay

Approve with one key (or let the countdown auto-push). Name, set and price land on your overlay.

The Stream Overlay

Your overlay is a single browser-source URL. Add it in OBS (Sources → + → Browser), paste, set the size — done. Every approved card slides in with its name, set, number and live market price, and the running total updates as you go. Colors, layout, timers and the vertical (TikTok / portrait) variant are all yours to tune.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need CardDex Pro to use CardDex Live?

The download is free for anyone. Signing in and scanning on stream requires CardDex Pro ($9.99/mo or $99.99/yr). If you sign in on a free account you'll see what Pro unlocks and a link to upgrade.

Which streaming software works?

Anything that can add a web page as a source: OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, TikTok LIVE Studio, vMix and others. You paste two URLs — the overlay and (optionally) the dashboard dock.

How do I use it with a Stream Deck?

In Settings → Hotkeys, assign F13–F18 (they don't clash with other apps), then set each Stream Deck key to send that F-key. Defaults: F13 Scan, F14 Approve, F15/F16 Previous/Next variant, F17 Wrong card, F18 Clear.

What if it picks the wrong card or print?

The dashboard shows suggested matches next to the identified card. Click the right one, or use Previous/Next variant to switch the print before it pushes. Anything already on the overlay can be removed from the session on any device.

Which games does it recognise?

Pokémon (English and Japanese), Riftbound, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, plus the other games in CardDex's catalog. You can narrow identification to one game for faster, more accurate matches.
